Sally, a licensed clinical social worker in Missouri and Kansas, has worked since 2001 in the field of community and emergency mental health with adults and seniors. Until recently Sally served as a project manager at the Geriatric Education Center in the Center on Aging at the University of Kansas Medical Center, training professionals in the areas of aging/mental health and palliative/end-of-life care in community settings.

In order to spend more time with her growing family, Sally has recently transitioned to aging/mental health teaching, training, and consulting on a part time basis in addition to serving as the part-time Outreach and Clinical Education Coordinator at the  National Institute for Health's designated KU Alzheimer's Disease Center: www.kualzheimers.org

Sally is also a yoga instructor in her spare time and provides senior and yoga-for-mental wellness classes throughout the metro area as well as serving on the leadership board of the Funeral Consumer Alliance of Greater Kansas City and her church, Beggars Table.

She maintains a small private practice, providing mental health therapy for Jewish Family Services' older adult in-home program.
