The Salisbury Community Radio Partnership is a group (presently four in number) of charities that required two way radio communications in the Salisbury area. They have come together to provide this service by means of VHF business radio repeater that is located to the South of the city.

A radio repeater is a combination of a radio receiver and a radio transmitter that receives a weak or low-level signal and retransmits it at a higher level / power, so that the signal can cover longer distances without degradation.

This facility was made available by a Community Grant from Scottish and Southern Energy.
The VHF business radio repeater is governed by Ofcom, the independent regulator and competition authority for UK communications industries.

If your organisation provides services to the community and requires two way radio communication to provide safety and welfare for your volunteers, and the ability to help deliver the services that your organisation provides, the Salisbury Community Radio Partnership might be right for your organisation. If your organisation currently does not have any radio equipment, the partnership can provide you with free impartial advice on what would be best for your organisation.

City of Salisbury Athletics and Running Club are pleased to sponsor the Salisbury            community radio repeater. Providing communication to the volunteer sector.
