      • must be a National Grid customer
      • must live in a home with 4 or fewer units

      • equipment installation at your convenience
      • removal and environmentally friendly disposal of fluorescent lights and ballasts from your facility
      • Average monthly kW demand of 300kW or less

TerraCycle Brigades

TerraCycle offers national programs, deemed “Brigades” to collect previously non-recyclable or hard to recycle waste.  For no cost, we can sign up for brigades and send them these materials and be paid for said items.  We have partnered with TerraCycle to provide recycling for the products listed.  We are by no means advocating for purchasing any items, but if these are items that you already buy, please be sure to bring them in for recycling.  The main recycling spot is Salisbury Town Hall-5 Beach Rd. Papa Gino's Fundraiser-November 6, 2014

Papa Gino's-100 Macy Street, Amesbury, MA (Stop & Shop Plaza), will be hosting a fundraiser for the Parks & Recreation on Thursday, November 6, 2014 from 4-8pm. If you order at that location during the stated time frame and present them with the flyer, Papa Gino's will donate 20% of the total pre-tax sales!  This money will go towards our fundraising goals for the park. 

Tortoise & the Hare Roadrace-Saturday, April 15, 2017, 11am

Come join the Salisbury Parks and Recreation for the 6th annual Tortoise and the Hare 10k.  This race is a 100% fundraiser for the Salisbury Parks and Recreation's new Partridge Brook Park.  Race includes a 3 mile walk that will start as soon as the runners are jogging down the Ghost Trail. This is a great 10k in Salisbury Massachusetts.  This race will begin at Lions Park and 1.8 miles will be on the Ghost Trail, which is a flat cleared dirt path. A beautiful race for spring time or to get warmed up for spring marathons. 

Registration Fee-
  • 10k:  $30 Pre-Registration | $35 Race Day
  • 3 mile walk:  $15 I $20 Race Day 
  • 1 Mile Kids Fun Run:  $10

Time- 10:30 am kids 1 Mile Fun Run, 11:00 am 10k with 3 mile walk to immediately follow.

Race Day Registration- Hilton Senior Center (43 Lafayette Road) at 9 am
Parking- DPW and Hilton Senior Center, 39/43 Lafayette Rd Salisbury, MA
Distance- 10k and 3 mile walk (the walk is all on the Ghost Trail, and 10k is 1.8 miles on the Ghost Trail and the rest on the road going against traffic)
Race Shirts- Dry fit, super soft custom t-shirt, guaranteed to all runners and walkers who sign up by March 19th.
Bib Pick Up- Race day, Hilton Senior Center (43 Lafayette Road) at 9 am
T-Shirt Pick Up- Race day, Hilton Senior Center at 9 am.  ** All t-shirts must be picked up prior to the start of the races. If you choose to not run the race you must pick up your t-shirt prior to the start. No t-shirts will be given out afterwards.

Awards- Top Overall Male and Female Hare, Top 3 Male and Female Hare in each of the following age groups: youth under 14, youth under 19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+ and the Top Male and Female Tortoise. All participants in the Kids 1m Fun Run will take home a finishers prize.

Seaside Brewfest

Come on down to Broadway at Salisbury Beach, Saturday, July 22nd, 2017 from 4 - 7pm for Salisbury's third annual Seaside Brewfest! This event will be hosted by the Salisbury Parks and Recreation Commission and the Boys and Girls Club of the Lower Merrimack Valley. All proceeds will support the building of Salisbury's new Partridge Brook Park and the Boys and Girls Club. Come support these great causes!
