Maria Giannini

I am a mother of two daughters, Alec (promoting 6th grade 2017) and Maya (incoming 5th grader). I am a former Vice President of e2k and, currently, I freelance with the same company as a senior producer. I have extensive experience with contract negotiation and managing large scale budgets. My expertise is in marketing and special events. I have had the opportunity to travel the world and work with clients like the National Football League, the National Basketball Association, Microsoft, Sony, Marvel Films, and Pixar just to name a few. In addition to producing high profile events, I served as the Executive Director for the San Diego Charger Girls for nearly 15 years, where my responsibilities included; contract and budget negotiation, audition management, personnel oversight, public speaking training, and overall professional consulting for the NFL dance t eam. In addition, I enjoy giving back to the community. I am very active in philanthropy, working with non-profits, such as; The Boys and Girls Club, Junior League of Monterey County, Natividad Hospital Foundation, and Salinas City Elementary Education Foundation. In addition to non-profits in Monterey County, my husband, Dirk, and I have been active school volunteers since our daughters first started at Lincoln. I have served on school site council for the past two years. I have chaired many PTO events including; Jog-a-thon, Read-a-thon, Teacher Appreciation Week, Carnival, and others where we have helped to raise thousands of dollars for Lincoln. I am passionate about supporting the school, it’s teachers, and most importantly, the students. I look forward to the possibility of being a PTO board member so that I can contribute to the strategic planning of our PTO and help the organization positively engage as many Lincoln community members, as possible.
