Lincoln’s Healthy Kids Club Mission:
to inspire all of our children to become champions of healthy eating and physical activity by caring about themselves and the world around them through garden-based learning and environment/ocean consciousness.

The HKC is a great way to be involved in supporting healthy students, family and our community. please check out the HKC Blog for more info

Please mark your calendars for our next Garden Work Day on Saturday, November 14th, 10am-1pm.  There will be arts and crafts for the kids and snacks for everyone!  Please email if you have any specific questions about the garden work day.  We hope to see you all there!

Our Garden Project is THRIVING!

check out parent and soil scientist, Dr. Eric Brennan, as he teaches us how to harvest kale in this informative YouTube video.

Whether you are able to attend the garden workday or not, your input is valuable.  Please take a few moments of your time to fill out the "Parent Garden Survey".  Together we can create the school garden of our dreams.

We are very excited to announce that Lincoln School successfully completed the Wally-Waste-Not award application and will be awarded with $1,000!
Your application was reviewed and all the activities were completed.  Congratulations!
Thank you for all the hard work the school did to complete the activities.
As we stated in the Wally-Waste Not award application, the award checks will be distributed and the school will be recognized for their accomplishments at our August 20, 2015 Board of Directors meeting. The board meeting will be held at the City of Gonzales Council Chambers located at 117 Fourth Street in Gonzales at 6pm.
