Since 2013, I have been conducting large-scale educational interventions in elementary schools in Turkey. The aims of these interventions are to i) to enhance key noncognitive skills in the classroom environment, via trained teachers ii) to identify complementarities across these skills and , iii) to explore cost-effective channels for reducing gender and socio-economic achievement gaps. The interventions are randomized and the project involves an ongoing field study to collect data on experimental and real outcomes. I run this project with Dr. Seda Ertac (Koc University).
