What's Happening
Church Election
Peace and grace,
As you may be aware, the existing Board of Deacons has thankfully agreed to extend the period of their service until an election can be held.
There should have been an election earlier in the year however this had to be postponed due to COVID-19. Now that we have adjusted to our “new normal" His Grace Bishop Boulos decided that we can now safely elect the new Board of Deacons.
This process started by His Grace’s appointment of an Election Committee. Please find H.G. letter attached. They are an independent board responsible for conducting the elections.
The process and all the detailed information related to the elections, will be available on:
1. The official website for the election: http://www.stmenaelections.com
2. The election's Facebook page: Saint Mina Coptic Orthodox Church https://www.facebook.com/Saint-Mina-Coptic-Orthodox-Church-463678197502568/
3. The designated email for all questions and inquiries: electionstmena@gmail.com
All of these platforms will be live starting, Saturday 24th of October, 2020.
There will be weekly announcements about the next steps in the election process.
We would appreciate your help and cooperation and God bless you all.
Best regards,
Sent on behalf of the elections committee.

Dedicated servant
“The harvest truly is plentiful, but the labourers are few. Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out labourers into His harvest.” (Matthew 9:37,38). In the occasion of the Fast of the Apostles, the fast of service, let us all pray fervently that the Lord may send us a faithful servant to help me in the His service of our beloved congregation. Let us all pray that the Lord may guide us to the right person of His choice according to His blessed will. If you know of a dedicated servant, please be in touch with me. Fr.
