Online bill pay is a free online service that you, the parishioner, could set up through the bank or financial institution you already use (many of you may already be using this to pay your bills). It allows you to set up a secure recurring bill payment and the bank will issue a check and mail it to the church. This can be a convenient, safe and inexpensive way to send in your church offering, plus you will never forget, it will already be done for you.
How to establish a bill pay account in steps:
Step 1 - go to your online account (if you don’t have one, call your financial institution and they will assist you in setting it up);
Step 2 - go to the option that says bill pay: click on this option
Step 3 - pick new account or add a company
Step 4 - put in church info – St. Matthew Church, 607 Stoney Creek Drive, Dauphin, PA 17018, enter the amount that you want to be sent and click on the weekly, biweekly or monthly option. Click auto pay and the amount will be sent to us automatically at the designated time.
That’s it! Your contribution will be sent and you will get an e-mail confirmation when it is. If you have any questions, please call the parish office.
