St Albans Half Marathon - volunteers required

This is a key fund raising event for the club. In the past we've raised as much as £500 which goes toward maintenance of the Dojo, keeping session costs lower, subsidising selected competitions, etc (please remember the instructors and desk helpers are all unpaid volunteers).

Please, parents, can you help?

It will be on the 14th June. We need a minimum of ten people to hand out water etc. on the finish line. This can be fun to do. Unfortunately the date clashes with a BJC event so the usual volunteers might be in short supply.

If we cannot get helpers in a week or so we'll have to pull out, and this would be a shame as we have been involved as a marshal team practically from when the beginning. Email the info address if interested.
