What is ISLAM ?

ISLAM is the religion ALLAH chose for mankind.

Who are Muslims ?

Anyone who obeys ALLAH is a Muslim. Adam was Muslim, Nuh(Noah) was Muslim, Ibrahim(Abraham) was Muslim, so were Lut(Lot), Ishaaq(Isaac), Isma'il, Yaqoob(Jacob), Yusuf(Joseph), Daud(David), Suleiman(Solomon), Musa(Moses), Haroon(Aaron), Zakariya(Zachary), Yahya(John), 'Isa(Jesus)(عليهم السلام), Muhammad( ﷺ‎.)and those who follow/ed them.

What is to be a Muslim ?

A Muslim believes in ALLAH as the creator of all that exists/existed and destroyer of all that existed, believe in all the prophets from Adam(first) to Muhammad( ﷺ‎.)(Last) (عليهم السلام), in the four books viz. Psalm(Daud), Torah(Musa), Injeel('Isa) and Qur'an(Muhammad( ﷺ‎.)) (عليهم السلام) and holy pamphlets. (S)he also believes in Angels, in the day of resurrection and in destiny.

What a Muslim needs to perform ?

A Muslim is asked to pray five times a day, fast in the month of Ramadhan, pay @2.5% of wealth as charity and take a journey for Hajj if (s)he can afford it.

What does a Muslim get ?

A Muslim gets Paradise for an eternal life after death.
