I’m Saed Moradi, an Adjunct Assistant Professor in Systems Design Engineering at the University of Waterloo and a researcher in the Department of Oncology at McMaster University and Juravinski Hospital in Hamilton.
My research focuses on computer vision and medical imaging, including medical image analysis, multimodal learning, 3D reconstruction, object detection, and clinical AI applications.
I received my B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from Urmia University (2009), M.Sc. in Electronics (mixed-signal IC design) from Ferdowsi University of Mashhad (2012), and Ph.D. in Electronics Engineering (computer vision and image processing) from the University of Isfahan (2018), followed by postdoctoral and research roles at Université Laval and the University of Waterloo.
