80s Prom Fundraiser Event

As a club interested in the success of students, we chose to create a Student Development Program as our signature project, that includes projects related to the academic and professional development of students in our community.  To fund this project, our club's first annual fundraiser took place at King Palace Seafood Restaurant on Sunday, March 24, 2013, with a theme of "80s Prom Night".  It was a flashback to the 80s and high school dances, with members and guests dressed in their 80s outfits, including a Prom King and Prom Queen contest!

Photos were taken by Lion Tony Santos (www.photosbyasantos.com).

District Governor James Fong and members of his cabinet visited us at our monthly meeting on December 7, 2011. For this special visit, our monthly meeting was held at the Holiday Villa Restaurant in Sacramento.
