tofu in rice paper


Ingredients:


400 g tofu

3 garlic gloves, finely chopped

5 scallions, cut into rings

1 tablespoon herbs

3 tablespoons olive oil

10 sheets rice paper (diameter 22cm)

salt for seasoning


oil for frying


Directions:


Let tofu drip off. Season tofu with salt, from both sides and cut into 10 equal slices.

In a small bowl mix garlic,herbs, scallions and olive oil.

Soak one sheet rice paper in lukewarm water, take out, drip of and place on a cutting board.

Place one slice tofu onto, spread with herb mixture and fold paper together.

Heat oil in a pan and fry tofu packages from both sides, for about 2 minutes.


Tip: For decoration you can place herb leaves under the rice paper!!!
