mini mason jar chocolate cheesecakes


(makes 5 mini mason jars á 150ml)

16 Oreo cookies

2 tablespoons butter, melted

300 g cream cheese

75 g sugar

1 semisweet chocolate (80 g) from Hussel

1 vanilla bean, scratched out

1 egg (size M)


Mini nougat eggs from Hussel


Preheat oven to 150°C. In a medium bowl crumble oreo cookies, very fine, add melted butter 

and mix until well combined.

Press half of the mixture into each jar. Use a fork or something similar, to press the mixture into

the jar. Set aside.

Melt semisweet chocolate, let cool down and set aside.

In a bowl beat cream cheese fluffy, add sugar, vanilla and the egg and beat until smooth. 

(It’s important that there are no lumps.)

At last stir in the melted chocolate.

Now scoop the batter into the jars and bake in the hot oven for about 45 minutes.

After baking let the jars cool down for another 10 minutes, before you let them chill in the fridge for

about 2 hours.

Now sprinkle with the remaining oreo crumbs and decorate with the Mini nougat eggs.
