SABERS AND ROSES is a documentary which details Dolan's decade-plus effort to not only preserve the historic Landon House property but also to get his Civil War reality show on the air.  It also takes a hard, controversial and humorous look at the massive, worldwide Civil War subculture.  Well over a million people visit the small town of Gettysburg every year...and over 4 million are expected to visit in 2013, the 150th anniversary of one of the greatest battles in human history.

Why are so many people so deeply into the Civil War?..after all, it ended 150 years ago!  SABERS AND ROSES is in post-production and slated for internet release in 2012, the 150th anniversary of the Battle of Antietam in 1862..the single bloodiest one-day battle of the Civil War.   Dolan delves deeply with the question of Stuart's role at Gettysburg and takes a hard look at untold Confederate history which will get people to thinking:  What would this country be like if the Confederate States had never seceded?
