Wood Badge Alumni Guild - Mecklenburg County Council

Events

Wood Badge Alumni Guild events are centered around those activities that realize the WBAG mission.  Currently, these events include Gilwell Field workdays, fellowship and networking opportunities, and pre-Wood Badge course prep days.

Gilwell Field Workdays

Fellowship Breakfasts  provide a perfect setting to swap Wood Badge stories while enjoying breakfast with other Wood Badge alumni.

Reunion Networking events are an ideal opportunity to build new friendships and strengthen existing scouting relationships.

Gilwell Field Workdays are a fun way to spend a Saturday with a group of like-minded people who are dedicated to building a better experience for future Wood Badgers.      The Kudu Horn echoes a call which all Wood Badgers can answer by becoming a member of the Mecklenburg County Council Wood Badge Alumni Guild.
Conservation Projects help improve the camp locations where Wood Badge activities are conducted, giving the Wood Badge participant a richer experience.

While the WBAG Board of Directors continues to work with Mecklenburg County Council to plan and schedule events, the table below shows the upcoming events already planned and scheduled.  Click the link in the Register Here column to register for an event.

WBAG Pancake Breakfast Join us at Belk Scout Camp for the first ever, but soon to be, annual WBAG Pancake Breakfast.  The most skilled chefs this side of Gilwell Park will be using their fluffiest batter to prepare the best, critter-shaped pancakes ever.

NOTE: The resemblance of Wood Badge critters found in the prepared pancakes is in the eyes of the chefs.  No Wood Badge critters will be harmed during pancake preparation.
