20/3/12 - Fundraising is going great, nearing the end of our fundraising campaign, only 40 days to go - the guys still have raffle tickets & pledges to chase up - the $12,000 mark is an attainable figure ... fingers crossed and we'll get there ...

28/2/12 - This years event is shaping up to be the biggest on record, with around 200 riders regisitered. It will translate into a massive donation on the last day with that amount of riders all busy fundraising - looking good for the "YOTS" cause - great work.


18/2/12 - Good luck to all the teams competing in the annual
Coke Ovens Alliance Fishing Classic next weekend, hope the weather & the fishing is great for all the guys.

16/2/12 - Rotary Club of Engadine - Incredible turn up this year. 2012 may be the biggest ride ever. So far, approx 180 riders registered. And maybe more to come ...

12/2/12 - The Johhny Warren Classic was a great days riding, we covered over a 100kms, the riding was great and for once the weather was fantastic.



The Cause

“Youth Off The Streets” has been providing services to assist homeless and disadvantaged youth since 1991. It is the believe that in order to break the cycle of disadvantage, abuse and neglect, all young people need to be provided with the opportunity to achieve their full potential.


The Event - April 2012

The Macsim SYDNEY TO SURFER'S BIKE RIDE enters its 13 year and continues through sponsorship by Macsim Fasteners Pty Ltd and the Bike Ride committee of Engadine Rotary. Since the inaugural ride, the Rotary Club of Engadine has supported Fr Chris Riley's "Youth Off the Street Program" through the funds raised by donating in excess $1.2million.


200 Riders will be raising funds for the YOTS Charity this year. The ride will take us from Sydney to Surfers Paradise, around a 1000 kms in seven days. Rotary the event organiser will present all monies raised to Fr Chris Riley on the last day of the ride.
