This I believe

I Rock on!!!!!!!!!

Yes, my thoughts are much diffrent from yours, his, or hers. All of my beliefs will become choices in my life. Rock music isn't noise and it's not just music, it's  a way of  living and expressing your thoughts. Rock is important to me because it's style gives you the freedom to be who you want and dress like you want.

The way rock sounds is so free. It's as if you were a slave and suddenly your chains broke off. To alot of people it's just noise but it's  so liberating, especially when your mad and you don't want to hurt someone whether it's physicaly or emotionaly. Being a rocker isn't being rebellious, as most people think, it's not letting anyone think for you.

My family is really open towards me and my cousins being  rockers, of course to a certain extent. I have four rocker cousins, and a brother who lives for rock. All of them are older than me so I look up to them. At first I didn't like rock, I liked being different , but the idea of people screaming diabolically scared me. The reason why I started to like it was a much more deeper meaning rather than the music itself.

A couple of years  ago my brother started listening to rock from the influence of my cousins. Soon after his rock experience, he was learning to play the guitar and rock seemed to become his life. He did not only listen to rock but he inhaled it's escence. My brother was and still is my best friend, but during that time he seemed to be apart from me. Anything I would say would be unimportant to him or at least not enough to grasp his attention, if it wasn't about rock.

I took a chance and started listening to the music. Alot of it talked about political things and life. Because I gave the music a chance, I liked it, the lyrics as well as the music. Now there is so much to talk with my brother, he humorously told me, "You can be anything you want, im not predjudice, I hate everyone equally." Even though I might have done it for the wrong reasons, it is now one of my greatest passions and it will never change. For this reason it is that I believe in Rock, and for this reason it is that now, I rock!

"Music is your own experience, your own thoughts, your wisdom. If you don't live it, it won't come out of your horn. They teach you there's a boundary line to music
But, man, there's no boundary line to art" - Charlie Parker
