I am an Assistant Professor of Finance in the College of Business at Ohio University. I earned my Ph.D. in Finance from the University of Missouri. I also hold a MA in Mathematics from the University of Northern Iowa and a BA / BS in Accounting and Mathematics from Mount Mercy University. My research interests are focused on corporate governance and the effectiveness of financial intermediaries ranging from hedge fund activists to securities analysts.
