The Model 1D was produced from 1907 until 1926. The patent was updated in 1914 and the the new patent date was put on the back cover. My camera was made between 1907 and 1914 based on the patent date (it does not have the 1914 patent on it.). The camera used 105 film which is no longer available. 120 Film spooled onto 620 reels works reasonably well. The Model 1D came in several variations of tripod mounts, levels and shutter button arrangements. The biggest variation was the earlier 2 piece assembly versus the later hinged variety. Mine is the later version with hinged sides and back for film loading. |
