Jacob Rush, dec'd., of Greenville Twp. Isaac Rush and Isaac House adms. Bond 8/28/1841, $1000 by Rush and House, with Abraham Scribner and Abraham House sureties. Appraisement 10/9/1841 by Linus Bascum, Henry House Jr., John Beers, allow support for widow Mary, receipt for dower signed by Jemima Rush 11/23/1844.
Peter Rush vs. heirs of Andrew Rush, dec., on or about 5/1/1812, leaves John Westley Rush, Cynthia, only children and under 21, Isabella, widow. Peter was named guardian of the heirs 5/12/1818, 113 acres to heirs, 108 acres to Peter.
Peter Rush of Pickaway County, Ohio, petition to be made 2/19/1818. About 6/1/1811 with Andrew, late of Darke County, dec'd, were tenants NW 1/4 S31, T12, R2, sold to John Hiller.
From Biographical History of Darke County, Ohio - In 1808 Peter and Mary Rush came to Darke County. He died in 1817.

Cuyahoga County, Ohio Jane Gramlich has identified her ancestors as Peter Rush and Mary Cowle who arrived in Cuyahoga County, Ohio, from Greene County, Pennsyvlania. Their children were: Elizabeth, Mary (m. Abraham Heston), Rachel (m. Abner Heston), Matthias, and Stephen. Peter and Mary are buried in East Cleveland Township Cemetery: Peter b. 1 Aug 1770 and d. 9 Aug 1846; Mary b. 1 Oct 1775 and d. 15 Oct 1853. A Cowell Family Tree (Ancestry.com) states Mary Cowell Rush died in Greene County 7 Dec 1848. Jane has documented Mary as the daughter of Christian Cowell and Peter as the husband of Mary through court records and land deeds in Greene County.
