Peter and Mary are buried in East Cleveland Township Cemetery: Peter b. 1 Aug 1770 and d. 9 Aug 1846; Mary b. 1 Oct 1775 and d. 15 Oct 1853. A Cowell Family Tree (Ancestry.com) states Mary Cowell Rush died in Greene County 7 Dec 1848. Jane has documented Mary as the daughter of Christian Cowell and Peter as the husband of Mary through court records and land deeds in Greene County.
