With all the need for help in Texas due to Hurricane Harvey, R.u.F.F. Rescue will be traveling to Texas to help the shelters by pulling small dogs from the shelters so that they can be freed up for all the animals coming in that have been displaced by Hurricane Harvey.  Many people have expressed that they would like to help the shelters and rescue groups by donating items.

A team of R.u.F.F. Rescue volunteers will be heading to Texas and will be able to transport items that are so desperately needed.

Please bring your donated items to Tractor Supply South, 9000 Amber Hill Court, Lincoln, Nebraska; or you can email R.u.F.F. Rescue and they will make arrangements to accept the donations.

Some of the items needed include the following:  dog and cat food, chicken food, collars, leashes, pet food dishes, crates, gas cards for transport expenses, dog & cat shampoo, Dawn soap.

Donations are being accepted now through the end of September.  In addition to the above-suggested items needed, we are in need of foster homes for the dogs we are bringing back from Texas.  If you could open your home and heart to a Texas doggie it will accomplish two things... a space for a Hurricane Harvey dog to stay while the hard-hit area tries to recover, as well as help a Texas dog find a loving place to stay temporarily so they can find a home.
