Who is the IHC?
The Independent Hunt Club is a non profit organization of around 60 members that hunt deer, turkey, fox, rabbits, squirrels and ducks. We are currently located in King William County and lodge in a 3 story, 3600 square foot log cabin that sits on 5 acres of land. We also have 15 dog pens that can hold up to 30 dogs in which all are beagles. The Independent Hunt Club has an estimate of 6,000 acres of land located in King William County, King & Queen County, and Essex County. As hunters and as a organization, we have rules and regulations that we follow to keep our members and guest safe so that we can all have a enjoyable hunting experience. Every year we band together and have fund raising activities for our Club. These usually consists of selling of BBQ, Raffles, golf tournaments, corn hole tournaments, turkey shoots and a fall outing in which you can bring your family out to the club and have a wonderful time.
