Hello and welcome to my website.
I work as an Assistant Professor at the Dept. of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at North South University, Dhaka, Bangladesh. I previously completed my Ph. D. from the ANU College of Engineering, Computing and Cybernetics at Australian National University (ANU) and my M. Sc. from the Department of Computer Science at the University of Manitoba, Canada. My undergraduate degree is from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET). My research interest is in Computer Vision and Machine learning.
I won the 2020 J G Crawford Prize from the Australian National University (ANU). This award recognizes the highest level of academic excellence across all disciplines at ANU. I also received the IEEE/CVF Winter Conference on Applications of Computer Vision (WACV 2023) Best Applications Paper Award, Digital Image Computing: Techniques and Applications (DICTA) 2022 Runner-Up APRS/IAPR best paper award, and Paul Dudley White International Scholar Award from The American Heart Association to Recognize the Highest Ranked Abstract from Bangladesh at Scientific Sessions, 2021.
