RPS council generally meets on the first Thursday of every month. Everyone is welcome. See the meetings page for all the details.

 

The RPS Council exists to:

  • - develop a strong relationship between home, school and the community, in order that each student reach his or her full potential
  • - act as an advisory board to the principal and Board and a channel for parents to express opinions about how to improve student achievement and to ensure that parents can actively participate in their childrens' education 
  • - promote and actively support the school in meeting educational, social and recreational needs of the students
  • - support priorities established by the school community
