Apartment Location & Surrounding Area

The charming town of Paphos is situated on the coast in the west of Cyprus and is recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.  It boasts an average of 340 days of sunshine a year and almost zero rainfall from April to November making it an ideal all year round destination.
The local Cypriots are friendly and welcoming. English is widely spoken and cars are driven on the left as in the UK, making it a very easy holiday destination.

The town offers the benefits of a beach holiday while having the Troodos mountains with spectacular views and even skiing during the winter only an hour away.  We have spent a morning sunbathing by the pool and the afternoon in the snow surrounded by skiers (at end Feb)!

The Apartment

The apartment is wonderfully situated in a secluded area between the Tombs of the Kings area of Kato Paphos and the coastline. Well located, it is only a few minutes walk from Tomb of the Kings Avenue, where there are many bars and restaurants, and from Faros beach (blue flag).

Beyond that the harbour area is a 20-25 minute walk along the new coast path and you can reach the old town and market within only 5-10 minutes. There are local air-conditioned buses that pass nearby that will take you to the markets, tourist area, harbour, Coral Bay and Aphrodite's water park.  Taxi's are in abundance, if required.

There is a local diving school and for the younger members of the family, the Aphrodite water park is only a 10 minute drive away, as is the local go-carting track. Boat trips, fishing trips and mini cruises also leave from the harbour daily.

Cyprus has a wonderful mediteranean climate, boasting 340 days of sunshine a year!
