so far the best featured vest/pack but with a dubious hip lash, not sure if it would be comfortable... will need to seek a stockist in Oz.
reviews also indicate this failure in the hip belt, they liked everything else about the product.

Salomon XA; not bad but also not impressed. Would let anything through the mesh. Not going there again.

Pearl Izumi’s Seek IV WRX
Would liked to have found and tried these shoes, but instead found the the Giro Rumble VR's that were not only a lot cheaper ($99.00), but I surprisingly found to be very good for both cycling and off road trekking.
I would not use them as huikers, but certainly won't need to carry/wear trek shoes for the bike leg of races anymore.

Have had the 5ten shoes for bike/hike; awesome bike shoes for grip on flat pedals, very comfortable to hike in but not for any distance as I found too much foot movement inside the shoe resulting in hotspots.
