2023 - Welcome to our website

The Rotary Club of Albany Creek welcomes visitors and new members.

Our meetings are held on the second and fourth Tuesday evenings of each month at 6pm for 6.30pm at the Albany Creek Tavern, 730 Albany Creek Road, Albany Creek.

(see map on meetings page).

We are a vibrant Club with about 20 members.

RYDA 2023 - Rotary Youth Driver Awareness

Our program for high school students  is held at Bracken Ridge TAFE which is an excellent venue.

The Program is directed towards our young people about road safety as they approach the period in their life when they start driving a car and ride as a passenger in a car driven by one of their peers.  (See more information on the next page (About Us).

We all enjoy our annual youth evenings.  It is great hearing from the students from NYSF, RYLA, RYPEN, INTERACT AND EARLYACT.  Thanks to the students, teachers and club members who made these evenings such a success.  It was wonderful hearing all about the fundraising and projects the students are involved in.

Changeover lunch was held on the 25 July at the Albany Creek Scout Den.  Our members were treated to Busy Cooking by two of our members (Photo below).  It was a change from our usual formal event.  Our new President is Alan Sampson.  Alan and his new board are up and running as we have already held one Sausage Sizzle and planning is well underway for the rest of the Rotary year.
