We promise. . .

. . . to be honest in what we say and do, as we stay focused while listening with compassion to you.  We'll persevere throughout the day and show respect along the way.  We'll make responsible and courageous choices, because here at Ross School we honor all voices.

Our Character Virtue survey here.

Our school is comprised of over 450 students from more than 20 countries.  Having students from five different continents strengthens our community as we celebrate our diversity.  Because of the ever changing enrollment in our school, we are committed to establishing a sense of belonging from the welcoming first day until we say farewell. Our staff embraces this commitment as we each play a role in fostering a nurturing climate at Ross.

Our goal is to build a positive and safe environment where children can take risks, challenge themselves, and problem solve in an ever-changing world. Character education at Ross is not a program for everyone to follow. It is embedded into everything Ross does and for everyone who is a part of it. The core virtues penetrate the culture at Ross and character is integrated into our curriculum seamlessly. It is our way of life.

On December 14, the staff had a fund raiser.
They wore puffy vests and denim for a donation to the Crisis Nursery.  They raised lots of money for a wonderful cause!

You've always got a friend at Ross.
Remember, to use your virtues to be a friend to all!

Mr. Barton and his wonderful student volunteers from North High came to weed our Peace Garden on Friday, September 24.
