Ofsted Report

Ofsted is the Office for Standards in Education, Children’s Services and Skills. They report directly to Parliament and are independent and impartial. They inspect and regulate services which care for children and young people, and those providing education and skills for learners of all ages.

Tornedale was last inspected on 5 February 2013 and was found to be a GOOD school.  Please click on the link below for more specific information and a copy of the Ofsted Report.

You can also see a letter dated 9 October 2012 from the Headteacher containing the comments of the Local Authority on our "Aspiring to Excellence" category at the end of this page.

Parent View is an online questionnaire that allows parents and carers to give their views about their child’s school at any time. It is also the main mechanism for parents to give their views about their child’s school to inspectors at the time of a school inspection.  Please click on the lick below to complete the questionnaire.
