About

I am a Program Director at Coefficient Giving, on our technical AI safety team as part of our focus on Navigating Transformative AI. I joined Coefficient Giving in 2022 as lead researcher on our Cause Prioritization team (with a focus on global health and wellbeing) and recently transitioned to working on AI.

I previously worked at the University of Oxford, where I was Acting Director (2022-2023) and Assistant Director (Economics) (2018-2022) of the Global Priorities Institute, and a Postdoctoral Prize Research Fellow in Economics at Nuffield College (2017-2021). 

I completed my PhD in Economics at the University of Pennsylvania in 2017. Before Penn, I completed the M.Sc. in Economics for Development at the University of Oxford (2012).
