  • Professor at ISEP (Institut Supérieur d’Electronique de Paris)
  • Head of the SITe (Signal Image Telecommunications) research team.

  • Research and teaching activities.


Expertise in signal and image processing :

  • Expertise on the image processing flow : preprocessing, shape and texture characterization, pattern recognition, classification, information fusion, decision, 3D reconstruction.

  • Main contribution : modeling of a priori knowledge, related to the application domain or extracted from the images, in order to better constrain the problem at the segmentation and recognition stages.
  • Application fields : document analysis, biometrics, medical imaging for ophthalmology, sustainable agriculture.


Collaborative research:

  • Team leader : head of the SITe team, including 4 associate professors and PhD students, working on 2 research axes :

  1. Advanced method for image encoding and interpretation

  2. Optimisation of the allocation of radio resources in cellular networks

  • Development of a collaborative research:

    • 2 ANR TecSan projects (2009, 2012), 2 CIFRE (2008, 2012) and 2 FUI (2009, 2011), 1 project funded by INSERM (Cancer Plan).
