André R. Sant'Anna

I'm a PhD student at the University of Otago, New Zealand. My research interests are in philosophy of mind and pragmatism (Peirce).

My work is focused on philosophy of mind and pragmatism, with particular interest on questions about the nature of perception and its objects. I'm also interested in questions about the nature of the objects of memory and imagination, and on how they differ from the objects of perception. My thesis is an attempt to use elements of classical pragmatism, especially Charles Peirce's pragmatism, to deal with contemporary issues related to those topics.
