Reformation Service:

"Roseland Reformed Church invites you to join us for a Reformation Day celebration service on October 27th at 6pm. Bethany Reformed Church in Clara City has gracefully allowed us to use their church to host the service. The offering will go to help build a parsonage for a new pastor and his family, in Romania. We look forward to celebrating what God has done through the Church, with you, our brothers and sisters in Christ.

We will invite any willing from the congregation to come forward and form a mass choir for the final hymn, "A Mighty Fortress."

Nursery care will be available.

Attention Parents:

The nursery room will be available for children 3 years of age and under supervised by a parent/adult. There will no longer be anyone assigned to monitor the children in the nursery. We are asking that older children not be sent to watch a younger sibling/child. If you have any questions, please contact an RCW Officer.

You are invited to join us for a Fall Trail Ride on Sunday, November 3 at 1:30pm. We will ride out from the Pennings Trail Head at their home (6600 225th Ave SW, Renville.), pot luck supper to follow. If you would like to ride & need a horse, we can find one for you. Call Brett or Christel at 320.220.3824.

"Mary Lu Pederson will be leading a six week women's Bible Study on Spiritual Warfare, beginning Tuesday, October 15th at 7:00 pm, here at the church. The Bible study will focus in on Ephesians 6:10-20 and explore what it means to war against evil as a disciple of Jesus Christ. Please sign up at the table in the narthex."

** Come one, come all! Roseland Church is hosting our second “Community Supper” this Friday October 18th at 6 pm. You may be asking, “What this meal is all about?” Pure and simple, we are looking to just have a nice get together of people in the area and spending some time visiting and enjoying a meal. We would like you to invite people from your neighborhoods, wherever you may be living. This meal is FREE to everyone who attends and if your spouse or family member is working or can’t make it, we will have “take outs” available. We would love to encourage everyone in our congregation to come and enjoy a relaxing evening with great food and great company. There are invitations on the table in the foyer and of course, you can talk to Jeannie, Karla or Teresa if you have any questions.

Revelation 3:20 “Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me.”

Pastor Appreciation Sunday is NEXT Sunday, October 20th! We will be honoring Pastor Ben & Megan with love and appreciation for their ministry in our Church. Please join us for cake and coffee following the morning worship service. There will be a basket for cards and notes of encouragement.

We have so much to be thankful for! Let’s get together as a body of believers and enjoy a traditional thanksgiving dinner on Sunday, November 3rd, at 11:30am. The whole family (and someone special to you), is invited and encouraged to come. If you could help with bringing a dessert; we need 11- (9x13 pan) desserts. If you can please indicate that you can help bring a dessert. There will be a sign-up sheet on the display table for each family to indicate how many they expect to be there. Deadline is October 27th. There will be a free-will offering taken to cover expenses.

"October is national food shelf month and we are collecting donations all month long! Please leave your donation in the box at the back of church"

"First CRC Youth Group would like to invite you to our annual Persecution Run. It is on October 23rd, at 7 pm at First Church in the sanctuary. Dress warm and we hope to see you there!"

Prayer Shawl Ministries will be meeting Tuesday Oct 22nd, at 7pm, in the library. We would love to have anyone interested in knitting or crocheting to join us. Beginners are welcome!

"CMCS Service Project: CMCS students, grades 7-12, will be coming to the communities of Raymond, Roseland, and Prinsburg to do yard work. The date is yet to be determined. They will be raking leaves, and doing general yard clean up. If you would like to get on the list to make sure that they stop by, please contact the school office 978-8700."

Ladies: Please hand in the half-sheet of paper (it was in your mailboxes) with the updated information for the upcoming 2014 (RCWM) ministries. They are due Oct. 27th.
