Betty was admitted to the University medical center in Minneapolis on Sept. 5th with a diagnosis of acute myeloid leukemia(AML)...this first round since diagnosis she will be there for 30+ days!! As soon as they get her in remission she will be having a bone marrow transplant (which after that she will have to be within 15min of the University for 100+ days with 24/7 care from her family/friends)...we are praying one of her siblings will be a match for that!

Betty has a caringbridge site if you would like to follow Betty and her family on this journey....caringbridge.org bettystrommer

She also loves visitors and getting mail it has kept her spirits up her address is...

University Medical Center

500 Harvard St.

Room 7-505, C/o Betty Strommer

Please keep our mom/grandma in your prayers through this journey...also please keep us in your prayers for safe travel as we make many trip back and forth (sometimes multiple times a week)!!

Come one, come all! Roseland Church is hosting our second “Community Supper” on Friday October 18th at 6 pm. You may be asking, “What this meal is all about?” Pure and simple, we are looking to just have a nice get together of people in the area and spending some time visiting and enjoying a meal. We would like you to invite people from your neighborhoods, wherever you may be living. This meal is FREE to everyone who attends and if your spouse or family member is working or can’t make it, we will have “take outs” available. We would love to encourage everyone in our congregation to come and enjoy a relaxing evening with great food and great company. There are invitations on the table in the foyer and of course, you can talk to Jeannie, Karla or Teresa if you have any questions.

Revelation 3:20 “Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me.”

A big thank you to all of you who donated money for the parsonage in Romania. The house is going up fast. Many people have given their time, talents and money to help the project move quickly. If you would like to hear some of the ways God has blessed the construction talk with John or Rodica.
