Congregation we want your help! Adventure club kids will be having a Service Project night on Wednesday, October 23. Each child will be packing a shoe box for Operation Christmas Child, project of Samaritan's Purse. We are asking that you bring some items to help fill our boxes. Choose items for a girl or a boy ages 5-9 or 10-14. There will be a box in the foyer for you to put your unwrapped items in.

The boxes will be distributed to children in other countries that would never get a Christmas present and who might never here about Jesus. Our boxes will go to a center in the cities where gospel materials will be added. If you would like information on doing your own box you can contact Wendy D.

Here is a list of items we are looking to collect:

School supplies: pens, pencils and sharpeners, crayons, markers, stamps or ink pads, writing pads or paper, solar calculators, coloring and picture books, etc.

Toys: small cars, balls, dolls, stuffed animals, kazoos, harmonicas, yo-yos, jump ropes, small Etch A Sketch, toys that light up or make noise (with extra batteries), slinky, etc.

Hygiene items: Toothbrush, toothpaste, mild bar soap (in a plastic bag) comb, washcloth, etc.

Other: T-shirts, socks, ball caps, sunglasses, hairclips, toy jewelry, watches, flashlights (with extra batteries)

"First CRC Youth Group would like to invite you to our annual Persecution Run. It is on October 23rd, at 7 pm at First Church in the sanctuary. Dress warm and we hope to see you there!"

Come one, come all! Roseland Church is hosting our second “Community Supper” on Friday October 18th at 6 pm. You may be asking, “What this meal is all about?” Pure and simple, we are looking to just have a nice get together of people in the area and spending some time visiting and enjoying a meal. We would like you to invite people from your neighborhoods, wherever you may be living. This meal is FREE to everyone who attends and if your spouse or family member is working or can’t make it, we will have “take outs” available. We would love to encourage everyone in our congregation to come and enjoy a relaxing evening with great food and great company. There are invitations on the table in the foyer and of course, you can talk to Jeannie, Karla or Teresa if you have any questions.

Revelation 3:20 “Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me.”

Williams Apple Orchard:

We are open for the season and have started picking apples.

Please stop by the farm for farm fresh apples! Call Tim with questions. 320-212-4687.
