A well known problem in Psychology (& other fields) is that studies not yielding significant results never see the light of day. This is often referred to as "the file drawer problem" and may concern failures to replicate previous work, or entirely novel ideas that simply didn't work out.
To promote transparency in science, I now make such studies public. I write (relatively unrefined) manuscripts and upload the experimental scripts, data, analysis code, etc. to the Open Science Framework (OSF). My hope is that many labs will start posting their "failed" studies, which would be an interesting resource for other researchers.
