Ron Plante is an artist, designer, illustrator and educator; He has devoted his 50 year career to the pursuit of excellence in fine art, illustration, design and visual communication. His experience includes owning and operating a successful design and illustration studio; more than two decades as an art history and graphic design college professor; and professional positions in art, graphics and print design, leadership, education, management and production.

Known as Le Grand Fromage by many, Ron is recognized for his passionate lectures on art and art history. Currently retired from teaching, he mostly creates art and illustration.

Ron has served on two art and design school advisory boards.

He has exhibited his work at numerous solo and group art shows, and has various pieces on permanent display in Manchester and Nashua, NH.

Ron holds an M.A. in Teaching and Learning from Kaplan University, a B.A. in Visual Arts from Rivier University and a Diploma/Certificate from N.E. School of Art and Design.
