William and Frances O'Daniel

of Stafford County, Virginia

( The O'Daniels of Fairfax County, Virginia )

(Daniel, Daniell, Daniels)

Welcome!

What good is genealogy if it isn't freely shared?

Our  O'Daniel surname evolved to Daniel, Daniell, and Daniels.  The last known uses of our O'Daniel surname were  in 1807 in the settlement of John O'Daniel's estate in Fairfax County, Virginia and on August 31, 1807 on a land deed for  William O'Daniel in Kershaw County, South Carolina.

This website records the descendants of  William and  Frances O’Daniel from their children:  John,  William,  James,  Catherine (m. Henry Gunnell),  Elizabeth (m. William Scutt), and  Ann (m. ____ Jones).  All born before 1728 in Stafford County, Virginia.

"TRUST, BUT VERIFY!"   Much here is documented, but some  is  accepted from others on faith.

Many researchers have contributed to the family lines presented.   Their assistance, friendship, and kinship are greatly appreciated.

IF YOU WANT ADD TO THE FAMILY KNOWLEDGE,  HAVE A  QUESTIONFIND SOMETHING USEFUL, OR FIND AN ERROR  OR  BROKEN LINK,  pleas email your host, Robert Louis Daniell, a 5th great-grandson of  William and Frances.
