The Tiger Trail

The Tiger rank is for Scouts who are in first grade.

To earn the  badge of Tiger Cub, your scout needs a Tiger Handbook to begin working on the Tiger Trail.   The requirements to earn the Tiger badge are

  1. Complete each of the six required adventures:
    My Tiger Jungle
    Games Tigers Play
    Tiger Circles: Duty to God
    Team Tiger
    Tiger Bites
    Tigers in the Wild
  2. In addition to the six required adventures listed above, complete at least one elective adventure of your den’s or family’s choosing.
  3. With your parent, guardian, or other caring adult, complete the exercises in the pamphlet How to Protect Your Children From Child Abuse: A Parent’s Guide
  4. Earn the Cyber Chip award for your age. (The Cyber Chip portion of this requirement may be waived by your parent or guardian if you do not have access to the internet.)

Note to Parents

  1. Your Den Leader will track the Den Activities and the "Go- See-It" activities for your cub scout’s achievements.
  2. You should use the Scout Handbook to especially track each of the Family Activities.  There are places to "Sign Off" on each activity in the handbook.
  3. So, use your handbook to track each of the family activities (among others) your scout completes.
  4. Start a Scout Folder to store papers and projects as your scout completes them.
  5. Bring the Handbook (and folder) to  Den meetings to have your family activities recorded by the Den Leader.
