Welcome back, everyone!
We are looking forward to another exciting scouting year.... with a few challenges.  But, we are not going to let those challenges keep us from having a great year ahead.

We will find new ways to meet and learn.

The Pack leaders are meeting this week to kick off the school year and plan fun activities.  Stay tuned.  More to come.

Please note:  Pack 19 is committed to everyone's health and safety.  We will take all precautions to ensure all children and adults stay healthy.

If you are interested in joining our Pack, please reach out to one of our leaders under "Contact the Leaders" section.

posted Aug 27, 2017, 8:24 PM by Daniel Srinivasan

As Pack 19 continues to grow, so to do our scouts, who may have old uniform items at home that they have outgrown. This year, Pack 19 will begin an Uniform Closet, where scouts can donate their usable uniform items, and also claim donated uniform items for use.  We hope to help families looking to get into scouting, and to reuse and recycle usable uniforms items within the Pack.  We will be collecting the following items at all pack meetings:
  • Shirts
  • Shorts
  • Belts
  • Neckerchiefs
  • Slides
  • Hats
Please help us by donating any of these items you might have at the next pack meeting!

The Blue and Gold Banquet is a special time on the Cub Scout calendar.  It marks a time to celebrate and recognize all the accomplishments of our Scouts over the last year.  Our Pack is now in its second year and continuing to grow.  This will be our first year to have Scouts crossover (graduate) from Cub Scouts to Boy Scouts.  Their entire year has been dedicated to learning about the Boy Scout method and how it differs from the way Cub Scouting works.

This year our four Arrow of Light Scouts will be crossing over to the Boy Scout Troops they have selected.  Our Webelos will pick up to be the senior guys in the Pack.  Bears will learn what it means to be Webelos.  Wolves will get to earn those Totem Chits by learning pocket knife safety.  And our Tigers will no longer be the little guys.  They will become Wolves and learn to run with the Pack.

As we see our Arrow of Light Scouts move on to their Troops, I say good luck, have fun and always DO YOUR BEST and BE PREPARED!!  We are all so proud of you.
