This page shows the photos of my 3-way active amplifier system.
Figure 1:
This image shows my Yamaha CDX-396 CD player sitting on top of the preamp-cum-crossover (white box). The knobs (from left to right) are: Volume, Bass, Treble & Source select.
Figure 2:
This image shows, in addition to the x'over & CDP, the three power amps. The one on the right is the tweeter amp (30W/4Ω), the one on the left bottom is the mid-range amp (100W/4Ω) and the remaining one is for the woofer (100W/4Ω). These amps use VFB circuits that I have designed but whose schematics have not been published.

Figure 4:
Images 3 & 4 show the left & right speakers without the grille. The tweeter is in between the mid & woofer. This is not by design, but rather a compromise in order to be able to have the mid in it's own enclosure (internally), and to protect it from the woofer's back-pressure, and at the same time give enough internal volume for the woofer. The driver specs are as follows:
Woofer: 6" effective dia, 8Ω/50W, rubber surround, paper cone, local make.
Mid: 3.5" effective dia, 8Ω/50W, foam surround, polypropylene cone, local make.
Tweeter: (roughly) 1" dome, 8Ω/100W (yeah, sure!), local make.
The speaker box is completely sealed with all internal corners sealed with industrial sealant. The mid is covered with a piece of nylon cloth to prevent damage to its foam surround.
