Short bio

I am an Associate Professor of Economics and International Relations at the Fundação Armando Alvares Penteado (FAAP). In addition, I currently serve as the secretary of IPSA's research committee on International Political Economy (RC51). Having earned ca doctoral degree in IR from Nuffield College, University of Oxford (2015), I conduct research on International and Comparative Political Economy, with a focus on the emerging powers, international organizations, regionalism, and the interplay between material factors and identity, which is a key process for understanding the current nationalist-populist wave.
