Robert Easton Park

June 26th 2011 was an Epic day for Colorado Kiters! The first formal Kite Fly at Robert Easton Park, near Dakota Ridge, on the west end of Littleton near the Ken Caryl area at the base of the Rockies. Over a dozen Kiters attended our Monthly Fly, which was moved from the Columbine Memorial location Clement Park we normally fly at every Fourth Sunday. In June, there was a jazz concert which reserved the amphitheater at Clement which left us with our field open for kiting but little or no parking, and more people in the way of flying safely. Hence, we finally ended up doing something with one of the Best fields of Colorado, overlooked until this Fly, due to being busy with so many other great days this year.
