Class Size Limit

posted Feb 3, 2013, 10:43 AM by Rod Preble

To all members of RMCDK:
In order to help with order, safety, and quality - in other words, to be able to spend time with students - we have decided to institute a cap on the size of the class of 50.  This presently has no impact since we are at 43 members.  Once we reach 50 members, it will impact you if you aren't promptly signed up at the beginning of each month because you will be denied being able to participate in class.  We have spoken with Rec Center management and since our class is during peak facility use times, we will not be able to use the full gym (more space was the only way to address the safety issue).

Joel, pictured with his proud parents, was awarded the highest rank in scouting on Saturday. Joel is a great assistant instructor and making excellent progress towards 2nd Dan.
RMCDK class members joined Joel in celebrating his promotion, including brother James (testing for 1st Dan in Valley Forge this weekend) and sister Lydia, a terrific green belt.
