Our historic slate roof, first installed in 1899, outlived its expected life span of 60-100 years.
In 2006-2007 we replaced the roof with new Vermont slate and new copper flashings and gutters. These beautiful materials matched the character of our historic building, and have a life expectancy of over 125 years.
The cost of this project was over $250,000. To complete the work we took a $100,000 loan. A balance of $78,000 remains.
You Can Help
Ask the Lord if you can help us pay for the roof. All gifts will be a help!
