Welcome to Rochford Computer Club's websiteRochford Computer Club was formed in 2003 as part of a project funded by the Big Lottery Fund managed and organised by Rayleigh and Rochford District Association of Voluntary Services to help people over 60 access computers.
The club meets monthly in Rochford, Essex on the first Thursday of every month. The aim of the club is to inform and help club members to use computers in a way that suits them and to provide a social environment in which people can learn with no worries or concerns. The meetings are usually presentations on the different ways computers can be used, with a demonstration of how a particular task can be achieved. Sometimes that's on the basics and sometimes it's a look at a specific piece of software. Either way, it's pitched at a level all our members can understand, from beginners to those who have been dabbling for a few years.
