Friends of Americans United,

You are invited to attend an informal chat at 7 pm on Tuesday January 22, 2019 with Board members of the Rochester Chapter of Americans United for Separation of Church and State. This event will be held at the Equal Grounds Coffee Shop located at 750 South Avenue in Rochester.

The evening will feature a discussion by Linda Stephens, our Chapter Vice President. who was one of the litigants in the case regarding invocations at the Greece Town Board meetings  that ended up before the U.S. Supreme Court. This case drew national attention and resulted in the Supreme Court establishing guidelines for such invocations. Linda will be sharing information about what the impact of this case has been.
We hope you’ll also feel free to raise other topics concerning church-state separation of local and/or national interest that you'd like to discuss.

Again, coffee and a cookie will be on us. It would be helpful if you can reply with respect your intention to attend. Hope to see you there.
Robert H. Goldstein
President, Rochester Chapter
