About Robin Gorenberg

I have over 25 years experience in estate planning, probate and estate tax preparation.  I handle all types of estate planning, from basic to complex, including strategies to minimize estate taxes and avoid probate, and  I walk clients through the entire process, including the necessary follow-up work after signing documents.

I typically prepare Wills, Revocable ("Living") Trusts, Irrevocable Insurance Trusts, Powers of Attorney and Health Care Proxies/Living Wills, as well as real estate documents (such as deeds, Trustee Certificates) for clients who ultimately re-title real estate into Trust.

I also help clients navigate the legal process after someone dies - including Probate (or administration if there is no Will), Trust administration, and Federal and/or MA estate tax calculation, preparation and filing.

I work with a variety of clients, ranging from the young parents who need simple Wills and related documents, to wealthy clients who need estate tax planning.  My  philosophy is to explain things so that you can understand your choices and make educated decisions.

I am a graduate of Brandeis University and Boston College Law School, and have also completed selected courses in Boston University School of Law's Graduate Tax Program.  I have been practicing estate planning law since 1988 and am a current member of the Massachusetts Bar Association, and the Boston Bar Association (Probate and Tax Sections).

I work with clients on all levels of estate planning, and have offices in Brookline, Newton, Needham, and Wellesley.
