Roberto Sarkisian

I am an Assistant Professor at Università degli Studi di Roma Tor Vergata.

I am generally interested in Microeconomic Theory, Contract Theory, Mechanism Design and Market Design, and their applications.

Lately, I have been working on two fronts. In the first one, I study the effects of prosocial preferences, such as morality and altruism, in contracting situations. In particular, I am interested in how prosociality distorts the incentives in comparison to standard selfish preferences, and how such distortions affect labor and insurance markets.

In the second, we explore information disclosure in matching markets, such as the school allocation problem. We are interested in determining the optimal information disclosure rule and the welfare impact on each side of these markets.
